This landmarked East Village workers cottage had outlived it’s 1890’s roots. The addition of a master suite and great room in the rear of the home as well as new 2nd floor dormers provided that desired modernization. Underpinning of the basement foundations also allowed for the owner’s extended families to have their own living space while visiting. The corrugated metal and cedar-sided outdoor space provided for a welcome contrast to the eclectic brick façade.
