A two-year renovation to a twice before remodeled Queen Anne home, this Lakeview residence has been by occupied by the same family for 15 years. With a desire to clean up the dated detailing of the interior and exterior, what began as a Mud Room addition and new garage, morphed into a complete modern overhaul. Restructuring the entire home, the interior was systematically reassembled within the existing footprint. This was accomplished while only adding 650 SF to the original house. An exterior palette of stucco, zinc, and ipe established a clean baseline of materials while the oversize windows accented the great natural light and openness of the interior. Designed and built with Norsman Architects and its construction arm, House Plant, Inc.
